Our Story

My-Thai Restaurant opened its door on July 6, 2001. It is the first of its kind in Hamilton and Burlington area. The concept of our restaurant is to offer a range of an acquired taste menu. Due to high demands and popularity of our restaurant we opened Burlington in July 2003, followed by My-Thai Brantford in September 2005, My-Thai Ancaster was opened in July 2006 and My-Thai Waterloo in May 2009.

Our Goals

My-Thai aim to bring in new and current food trend while maintain authenticity of Thai cuisines, with the help of our Certified Thai Chefs under Foreign Worker programs, of whom is base on every single My-Thai locations make the goal achievable.

Our People

Vanh Kalong, the founder still own and operate all five locations with the help of her partner Dennis Forster and Som Douangmala whom co-own and operate our My-Thai Waterloo. My-Thai currently employed over 100 full and part-time employees and has contributed to its local economy.

Our Community

My-Thai make an ongoing effort to be environmental conscious by recycling our cardboard and plastic usage and continue to learn and look for a better way to package our takeout food.
